La Familia
La Familia is an HPC-led initiative that aims to increase the representation of the Hispanic and Latinx community in the Texas A&M Student Senate by supporting, advising, and endorsing Hispanic and Latinx students during their campaign for the Texas A&M Student Senate.
Our mission is to provide a platform for candidates who are not only interested in working with policy and government, but would like to advocate and represent the Hispanic/Latinx community with the help of the Hispanic Presidents' Council External Affairs Associates.

Spring '24 Student Senate Election Winners
As an ongoing student senator, Emily hopes to continue making campus accessible for everyone, inclusive for every community, and to make sure Hispanic and Latino voices are elevated and heard in important conversations.
Her journey in the student senate began in the Fall of 2023, and she has done tremendous work!
